Stress Management Online Course: Key Topics

This Stress Management Certification Online, consists of the following three units:

Unit 1 – Understanding Stress

In the first of three intensive course units, candidates explore what exactly it is that stress is and how it represents a normal part of life that cannot be avoided or ignored.  The identification and definition of stress from a contemporary respective are explored, along with effective approaches to interpreting personal stress and the importance of sensory awareness.

Unit 2 – Strategies to Manage stress

The second unit of the course explores and dissects a series of effective and proactive stress management strategies. Candidates are guided through the specifics of workplace stress, the ‘Triple-A Approach’ and the concept of stress tax. Course content also covers the use and potential value of creating a stress log, which can be crucial in the identification of stress and anxiety triggers.

Unit 3 – Time Management

In the closing course unit, the relationship between time management and stress is introduced and explored in-depth. Core concepts covered include the establishment of a workable routine, a series of helpful organisational tips, budgeting basics, drainers and fillers, chore charts and brainstorming good ideas.

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievementfrom ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
