Unit 2 – Types of Inventory

The second unit moves on to begin exploring the various types of inventory and their importance in their respective industry areas. Candidates are introduction to the critically important inventory cycle concept, along with the various challenges associated with each primary inventory type.

Unit 3 – Setting Up the Warehouse

The process of setting up a professional warehouse forms the primary focus of Unit 3, which incorporates the identification of goals and objectives along with performance analysis. The unit also touches upon order quantities, reorder points and safe stock.

Unit 4 – What Makes a Good Inventory Management System?

In the final unit of the course, candidates investigate the core elements of the solid, efficient and workable inventory management system. Content covers the maintenance of inventory accuracy, crisis management and the evaluation of the various inventory management systems.
