This Online Risk Management Certification, course consists of the following three units:

Unit 1 – What Is Risk Management?

In the first course unit, candidates are provided with a comprehensive introduction to the concept of risk management and guided through a variety of risk definitions, classifications and strategic approaches to professional risk management.  This introductory unit also incorporates an overview of the various different types of risk including the three main categories – Market, Operational and Political.

Unit 2 – The Risk Management Process

Candidates are then taken through the contemporary risk management process, which touches upon the analysis and evaluation of any existing risk management strategies within the business, along with a variety of risk management planning processes and activities.  The specifics of technological and financial risk management are also introduced.

Unit 3 – Responding to Risks

In the final course unit, candidates investigate the professional risk response process.  Course content covers the implementation of the risk management plan, how to effectively test and analyse preventative measures and ultimately how to minimise the likelihood of risk recurrence.
