Unit 7. Project Quality Management

Module seven outlines the value and importance of meticulous quality control in project management, examining the project manager’s contribution to overall project quality.  Several important internal and external quality factors are discussed, along with a series of project quality management tools and resources for enhanced quality control.

Unit 8. Project Human Resource Management

Candidates consider the HR management responsibilities of the project manager in module eight, which also examines the art of effective delegation and the characteristics of a quality leader.  The broad functions and objectives of HR management are discussed, alongside helpful guidelines for improving workforce performance and how to effectively allocate responsibilities.

Unit 9. Project Communication Management

Module nine examines the extent to which communication plays a key role in the completion of all important projects.  Candidates learn how to plan for effective communication, assess the communication requirements of a project and understand the potential consequences of communication breakdowns in project management.

Unit 10. Project Procurement Management

The procurement aspect of project management concerns the products, materials, resources and manpower required to successfully complete a project.  Candidates learn how to accurately assess a project’s requirements, strategically select suppliers/vendors and avoid the most common issues and challenges when working with third-party contractors.

Unit 11. Project Risk Management

A fascinating overview of project risk management followers in module 11, which guides learners through the process of creating and implementing an effective risk strategy.  Course content covers the identification, classification, prioritisation and mitigation of risk at a variety of levels, along with the role of SWOT analysis in improving the efficiency and quality of projects.

Unit 12. Global Project Management
