Unit 1. Introduction to Fashion Design

The course begins with an introduction to the fundamentals of fashion design, taking a detailed look at the recent history of the sector and its importance to modern society. The ongoing evolution of fashion is also examined, along with the most important fashion trends of recent years and an introduction to the concept of the fashion cycle.

Unit 2. Fashion Forecasting

Module two guides candidates through the process of accurately predicting future trends in fashion, outlining how the fashion industry plays a role in influencing all major trends and movements. The importance of focusing heavily on the future of fashion to remain one step ahead of the game is also discussed.

Unit 3. Elements of Design

Unit 4. Principles of Design
