The Workplace Environment

The course begins by providing candidates with a walkthrough of the professional beauty salon, offering invaluable insights as to what it is like to work as a beauty therapist.  Candidates study the primary duties and responsibilities of the beauty therapist, along with their contribution to workplace health and safety, the importance of personal hygiene and the most important salon equipment.

Facial Skin Analysis and Facial Treatments

Candidates are then guided through the process of examining facial skin, in order to identify common issues and recommend appropriate courses of treatment.  Facial mask therapy and facial massage techniques are also introduced, along with how to select and apply appropriate masks in accordance with the requirements of clients’ skin.

Consultations & Skin Analysis

Concluding the course, module three takes a more general look at professional skin analysis and the wider consultation process.  Candidates are familiarised with the different requirements of different skin types, along with how to recommend and perform appropriate treatments accordingly.
