Managing Global Team Course, consists of the following three units:
Unit 1 – The Virtual Workplace
The first course unit begins by exploring the definition and specifics of the virtual workplace, incorporation an overview of the potential benefits and challenges of remote working. The creation of the virtual workplace program is investigated in-depth, along with effective performance management techniques and how to prepare the workforce for telework.
Unit 2 – Choosing the Virtual Team
Establishing an effective and capable virtual team represents the primary focus of Unit 2, which introduces the subtopics of success strategies, establishing a culture of trust and facilitating consistency of output/quality. Selecting and utilising the appropriate tools is also explored, along with the most important virtual team developmental stages.
Unit 3 – Leading Virtual Team
Virtual team leaderships skills form the central theme throughout the closing course unit. Candidates learn the importance of establishing and communication expectations, planning and chairing virtual team meetings, testing a virtual strategy and working with culturally diverse teams.
