Unit 5 - Managing Time

Course Module 6 shifts focus to managing conflict from a supervisory perspective, investigating how proactive conflict management can yield positives from confrontation. A variety of common causes of conflict are discussed, along with the importance of identifying and addressing conflict at the earliest juncture, managing negative feelings, effective anger-management strategies and a breakdown of the ‘assertiveness formula’.

Unit 7 - Managing Meetings and Giving Feedback

Effective feedback techniques and professional management of meetings enter the conversation in Unit 7, which focuses specifically on how to plan and implement a variety of essential meetings. Candidates discover how feedback-provision plays a direct role in nurturing workforce growth and development, ultimately enhancing business performance.

Unit 8 - Principles of Project Management

A series of key project management principles follow in Unit 8, providing candidates with a comprehensive introduction to the duties and responsibilities of project managers.
