Financial forecasting as a wedding planner is discussed in module four, to allow for the planning of weddings to suit all budgets.  A series of key cost control considerations are examined, alongside tools and techniques for producing more accurate financial forecasts, how to avoid unnecessary expense and the importance of delivering consistent value for money with each event organised.

Unit 5 - Wedding Planning Timetable

The creation of a comprehensive wedding planning checklist follows in the fifth module, which also outlines the importance of a strategic and viable timetable.  Candidates consider the value of timeliness and punctuality in wedding planning, alongside the main actions and activities that must be included in every wedding timetable and checklist.

Unit 6 - Planning for the Big Day

Module six examines some of the more logistical aspects of wedding planning and management, focusing on procurement and vendor selection.  Candidates consider guest transportation provision, event entertainment and catering, photography, venue selection, equipment hire, floristry services, venue layout, wedding themes and more.

Unit 7 - Wedding Day Details

Some of the finer details of the wedding day are discussed at length in module seven, including hair and makeup services, assisting with wedding attire and general bridal preparations.  Candidates also learn how to conduct a broad risk assessment for the safety and welfare of guests, alongside key security considerations in wedding planning and management.

Unit 8 - Post-Wedding Evaluation

Module eight examines the art of effective feedback gathering, along with how to make the best possible use of all comments and suggestions from clients, guests and vendors. Candidates learn how to measure the success or otherwise of the event, in order to produce actionable insights to ensure each subsequent wedding is better than the last.

Unit 9 - Starting Your Own Wedding Planning Business

In the ninth and final module, candidates are guided through the process of starting their own wedding planning business. The benefits of self-employment are discussed, along with licensing and insurance in wedding planning, the importance of high-impact marketing, launching a wedding planning website, selecting a viable target audience and more.
