  • Unit 2 - The Coaching Process

The second unit focuses on the mechanics of the coaching process, detailing each component stage and its significance accordingly.  Candidates are introduced to the Socratic method of asking questions, the capacity for life coaching to contribute to clients’ personal development and the general scope/limitations of life coaching.

  • Unit 3 - Life Coaching Tools & Techniques

Some of the more common life coaching tools and techniques used by professionals worldwide are discussed in unit 3, which also brings morals and ethics in the field of life coaching into discussion.  Candidates learn how motivation, positivity and optimism play a key role in helping candidates both establish and achieve their objectives.

  • Unit 4 - Communication Basics

The art of effective communication is discussed in unit four, along with some of the most common communication issues are encountered in the field of life coaching.  The importance of nurturing strong client relationships though communication is examined, which often involves assisting clients with their own communication issues.

  • Unit 5 - Listening Skills

Unit 5 explores the wide-reaching importance of advanced listening skills for the professional life coach.  The difference between hearing and listening empathetically is discussed, along with a series of tips for more accurate interpretation of spoken information in general.

  • Unit 6 - Body Language

The role of non-verbal communication in a life coaching context is discussed in unit six.  Candidates learn how to confidently read and interpret visual cues, control their own body language to improve communication efficiently and the art of sending powerful messages without speaking a single word.

  • Unit 7 - Introduction to Neuro Linguistic Programming

Concluding the course, unit seven outlines the important role of neuro linguistic programming for the professional life coach.  Helpful tips and techniques for establishing rapport with clients are presented, along with the scope for effective use of NLP to allow life coaches to carefully manipulate and control outcomes.
