Unit 2 – Role of an Accountant

Unit 3 – The Balance Sheet

One of the most crucially important accountancy elements for any business, unit 3 moves on to introduce and explore the preparation, use and analysis of balance sheets.

Unit 4 – Profit and Loss Accounts

This unit focuses on the preparation of profit and loss accounts, which play a crucial role in the monitoring of business performance and ongoing strategizing. Candidates become familiar with income measurement and analysis.

Unit 5 – Cash Flow Statement

The fifth unit comprehensively investigates cash flow statements, along with the sources, use and analysis of funds. The unit brings about a deeper understanding of the management and consideration of on-hand cash resources, along with other sources of business funds.

Unit 6 – Budgeting

The course concludes with concise overview of business budgeting. Candidates discover what exactly a budget is, along with how to budget in accordance with business performance and ultimately how to manage and control operating budgets professionally.
