This is an entry-level Accountancy and Finance Course that provides a broad overview of the fundamentals of financial management and accountancy. The course is delivered over a series of three modules, each of which concludes with an online assessment your assigned tutor will mark and return:

Module 1: Accounting Basics

The basics of accountancy and financial management are introduced in the first module, which details the objectives of corporate accountancy and several common accountancy challenges.  Candidates explore a detailed dissection of the accountancy cycle, the business-wide benefits of effective accountancy and the potential consequences of substandard accountancy practices.

Module 2: Accountants’ Roles and Responsibilities

Candidates are then presented with several different types of accountancy personnel, along with their primary duties and responsibilities respectively.  Working as part of an accountancy team is also discussed at length, along with the concepts of credit and debt, an introduction to essential accountancy terminology and more.

Module 3: Key Financial Reports

In the final course module, candidates are presented with a series of essential financial reports and their respective functions in a business environment.  Course content covers business ledgers, accountancy journals, profit and loss reports, cash flow statements and other important documents, along with helpful tips for accurate interpretation and analysis of reports.
