The course Crisis Management Certification Online, consists of the following four units:

Unit 1 – What is Crisis Management?

The course begins with a broad introduction to crisis management as a concept, touching upon what exactly it is that constitutes a crisis from a business perspective, the role and importance of the crisis management team and how to provide appropriate crisis management training.

Unit 2 – Conducting the Crisis Audit?

The second unit provides an in-depth investigation into the crisis audit, introducing candidates to various concepts including the 360-degree audit, the online audit and how to effectively use a risk matrix.  A series of important audit questions are also introduced and explained.

Unit 3 – Developing a Response Process

Crisis response process development forms the core focus of the third unit, incorporating a series of essential teachings on incident investigation, crisis documentation, expert consultation and working through the various issues in relation to any given crisis.

Unit 4 – Establishing an Emergency Operations Centre     

In the final course unit, candidates are guided through the most essential elements of the workable crisis plan, along with how to set up an emergency operations centre to facilitate business continuity in the wake of any given crisis or emergency.
