Unit 4 – Planning a Workshop

Essential practical workshop planning and preparation takes centre-stage in Unit 4, where candidates are guided through the specifics of successful planning, the use of equipment and how to both anticipate and overcome common challenges.

Unit 5 – Your Role as an Effective Communicator

The importance of being a strong and effective communicator forms the core focus of Unit 5, which introduces a variety of critical topics including impact evaluation, knowledge evaluation, how to lead a discussion and Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation.

Unit 6 – Dealing with Difficult Situations

In the closing unit of the course, candidates learn essential techniques for both anticipating and handling difficult situations both inside and outside workshop settings. Teaching as part of a team and the relevant preparation also feature prominently in the sixth unit.
