This unit provides deeper insights into business administrative management, including what it means to manage business admin, management functions and the most important management principles. The course moves away from basic background to introduce the concept of management/taking charge.

Unit 3 – Human Resource Management

In the third unit, candidates explore the subject of human resource management and the critical importance of human resources within any business or organisation. Along with outlining the role of the HR manager, the unit also introduces the crucial HR code of ethics.

Unit 4 – Marketing & Customer Services

This unit focuses primarily on the management and maintenance of customer relationships, along with the creation of strong and workable marketing plans. Candidates are introduced to the concept of creating a ‘win-win’ scenario through proactive and practical customer service management.

Unit 5 – Staff Performance Management

In the fifth unit, focus turns to the management of staff performance in the context of using HR management skills to maximise output, efficiency and overall business performance. The performance management principle is broken down into its more important key components.

Unit 6 – Resources Management

This unit moves away from human resources to introduce the importance of general business resources and resource management. Course content covers the basic principles and theory of resource management, along with associated problems, challenges and resolutions.

Unit 7 – Risk Management

In the final unit, the course concludes by visiting the subject of risk management including its history, core elements and the benefits of competent risk management. Candidates are also taken through a series of important and effective risk management tools and strategies.
